Do you really need to rough it while you are camping?
Camping is great - the sounds of the wind rustling the trees, the wildlife sightings, the crackling of a campfire, the ability to disconnect from city life, the simplicity and remoteness, the adventure. It is great to see what you are made of and to push your limits.
However, my tolerance for '“roughing it” only goes so far when it comes to mosquitoes. That is where I draw the line. I HATE THEM. The bites, the incessant buzzing, they are just the worst part about camping to me. That’s why when I go camping, I make sure to come prepared for those mozzies. Insect repellent is a must but I just don’t love DEET on me all day and night. That’s why I always pack my Claymore “Athena” insect repeller lamps!
This light has become part of my camping arsenal because it ticks three very important boxes for me - functionality, beautifully designed, and it also repels my enemies (aka the blood-sucking mosquitoes). The “Athena” is a smaller lamp than others offered by Claymore but it has more than enough light for inside the tent. Where it really shines is having a mosquito repeller inside the lamp. No one likes the sound of mosquitoes buzzing around their head at night, and I can say having camped with this wonderful new addition to my kit, I have never had to deal with that horrific sound again (or the bites!).
The Claymore “Athena” is a great light for inside the car, a small balcony, or tent. It’s a great addition to your camping dinner table to keep the mosquitoes away and there are 3 LED colour temperature settings for any mood. The “breeze” mode mimics a soft campfire flicker and is soothing for dinner time at your campsite or on a balcony after the sun goes down. With versatile attachments, you can use the tall metal stand, the short removable legs, or a carabiner to hang the light for any area. It is the perfect addition to my kit and easily rechargeable with a USB Type-C cable, so you do not need to bring extra batteries.
I love camping and the outdoors, and am thankful to have this multifunctional lightweight, portable light so i can enjoy the peace and quiet mosquito bite free!
